ANTI-LIGATURE DISPLAY VEHICLE

Anti-ligature product demonstrations and anti-ligature advise delivered to your location, of work.

Anti Ligature shop became aware that the people who were viewing the Jtrac and other products from the Anti-ligature shop were estates departments and not the clinicians that used the products on a daily basis.

As a solution to this problem in April 2019 Carl Need the Director of ALS purchased the Anti-ligature display van -to take suitable and reduced ligature products to our customers. Working with Tony Crumpton (Ligature Risk Reduction Manager) the van was designed to display the products on interchangeable boards, to allow the products boards to be changed to suit ours customer’s requirements, relevance and curiosity.

The display vehicle went on its first journey in September to Cumbria, Jtrac and other reduced ligature products were demonstrated by Tony Crumpton and Carl Need – visitors then where encouraged to try for themselves. Tony and Carl were on hand offering advise and listened to clinicians who use the products gathering important feedback on anti-ligature products.

Since the first visit to Cumbria – the display Vehicle has been to the IHEEM Exhibition in October 2019, and everyone who visited us there expressed their admiration of the organisation of the product display. Carl and Tony have also taken the visited many other places, including Belfast, Edinburgh, Essex, Merseycare, Pennine care, Prestwich, Sussex, Tayside
