2018 saw the launch of our first digital anti ligature safe clock – the housing made of 1.5mm steel, and the clock face was protected by a impact resistant panel.
Since the first version of the rectangle digital clock we now have 3 clocks in the range, to suit all environments. The reason for having a clock in a bedroom or day / communal room is so the patient can know if it is morning or evening and hopefully help to assist with sleep patterns.
All of our clocks are fixed into our UK registered design 6081840 anti-ligature clock housing. The frame design enables the clock to be adjusted or battery change without removing the steel housing
ALSC01V1 Anti Ligature Digital safe clock this reduced ligature design clock features the 24 hour clock – allowing patients to know day from night.
ALSC02V2 Anti Ligature Analogue safe clock, was introduced into the range due to findings that the elderly prefer an analogue clock and it is suggested analogue clocks are preferred for seclusion rooms.
ALSC03V1 Anti Ligature Multi-way mains powered analogue / digital “safe clock” is the clock for all people in all environments it is analogue or digital, black/white or coloured, the screen displays morning or afternoon. The coloured screen is suitable for people with dementia.
