The JTRAC System – The reduced ligature curtain rail for all Challenging Environments
In 2019 Anti-Ligature shop found though various avenues that anti-ligature curtain rail was not being tested or maintained tin accordance with manufacturers instructions.
Anti-ligature shop up until last year created “safe caring” environments and the next step was to maintain the “safe caring” environments. The rail testing program was developed.
As most manufacturers recommend a yearly inspection to ensure that curtain rails are functioning correctly and that natural wear and tear has not caused any potential ligature points.
All curtain rails are tested including Jtrac and all other curtain rails that are in the location. Minor fixes are often done during the testing. Once all rails in the wards/rooms are complete a detailed report is drawn up and recommendations for remedial work is suggested to you.
